PROJECT MANAGER – RETAIL CONSTRUCTION
ABOUT THE JOB
Project Manager is responsible for leading multiple construction projects from inception to completion, overseeing planning, estimating, execution, and monitoring to ensure timely, budget-conscious, and high-standard delivery. This role is integral to maintaining and developing client and vendor relationships and collaborating effectively with the Finance and Field Teams.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Directs project team efforts in estimating, bid solicitation, takeoffs, and proposal development, ensuring accurate scopes and efficient execution.
- Leads execution of construction projects from planning through closeout, managing schedules, budgets, and quality to ensure successful delivery.
- Builds strong client and vendor relationships, aligning project outcomes with expectations.
- Oversees site progress, safety, and compliance while facilitating clear communication among stakeholders.
- Manages resources, quality control, RFIs, submittals, and value engineering to optimize cost and performance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field.
- Three years of retail construction project management related experience.
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction means and methods.
- Demonstrated financial acumen.
- Motivated team players exhibit adaptability and strong problem-solving capabilities, essential for navigating changing circumstances and challenges.
- Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication skills, fostering clear understanding and collaboration with various stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data driven decisions for continuous improvement initiatives.

- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must maintain client compliance requirements.
- Must be able available to work out of state, nights, weekends and/or extended hours based on project demands.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Role involves a mix of office and field environments, requiring flexibility to adapt to different project sites.
