Assistant Project Manager

Description

If you are an Assistant Project Manager or Project Engineer that is highly energetic, self-motivated, and interested in being a part of a growing company with a positive “can do” attitude, Beeler Construction invites you to join their elite team. You'll be providing support to our Project Management and Accounting Teams.
We’re looking for the candidate to have a minimum of 5 years experience working as an assistant in the commercial construction environment.

Education

Successful candidate having sufficient work related experience in commercial construction. A BS in Construction Management or equivalent is favorable.

Computer Skills

Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Teams, One Drive).
Sage Contractor 100 (or other project accounting software).
Bluebeam or other PDF editing program.
Microsoft Project or other scheduling program.
Procore or other bid solicitation program.
Procore, PlanGrid, Field Wire or other project management program.

Core Responsibilities / Duties:

Project Accounting assistance:
Working in Sage Contractor 100 (Accounting Software).
Setting up and maintaining jobs and job data in Sage.
Running project computes and tracking costs.
Working in robust Microsoft Excel budget spreadsheet.
Aiding accounting in Accounts Receivable.
Aiding accounting in Accounts Payable.

Project Management assistance:
Assisting in planning and implementation of projects.
Assisting in estimating and subcontractor scope reviews.
Prequalifying and managing subcontractor/supplier database.
Assisting in bid solicitation through Procore.
Generating purchase orders and change orders.
Generating and updating project construction schedules.
Procuring materials and tracking/coordinating deliveries.
Maintaining RFI, Submittal and change order logs.
Closing out projects and producing close out documents for clients.
