Years with Beeler Construction: 2.5 years

Years in the Construction Industry: Almost 15 years!

Q: What does a typical day look like in your role at Beeler Construction?
A: There’s really no “typical” day at Beeler when you’re a team of one. Some days start with being the first impression on a phone interview or call, others are focused on long-term planning or supporting our leaders and employees. My day consists of whatever it takes to keep things moving.

Q: What drew you to a career in construction, and how did you end up at Beeler Construction?
A: I was drawn to construction through my grandfather and husband, and quickly developed a deep respect for the people, the work, and the strong sense of pride and legacy that comes with it.

Why Beeler? I previously worked for another well-respected, local family-owned construction contractor, which is where I developed a real appreciation for that environment and the families who run it. Also, coming from a family of entrepreneurs, hard work, dedication, and grit have always been part of who I am, so it felt like a natural fit. From the first interview, it just felt right! I could see it being a place where I could really lean into my strengths and make an impact.

Q: What’s the most challenging project you’ve worked on, and what made it memorable?
A: Building the function from the ground up has been the most challenging and rewarding project I’ve taken on, and it’s still evolving. The Beeler family trusted me to create a place where employees can build meaningful careers, and I take that responsibility seriously. I give it everything I have, and while not every day is easy, each challenge comes with a silver lining and an opportunity to grow both personally and professionally. What makes it especially memorable is being able to see the impact firsthand.

Q: What do you enjoy most about working at Beeler Construction?
A: I’m fortunate to work with some incredible people every day. There’s nothing better than supporting a team that genuinely cares and shares the same values.

Q: If you could describe the Beeler Construction team in three words, what would they be?
A: Connected, hardworking, proud.

Q: Outside of work, what are your hobbies or interests?
A: I enjoy spending time with my family, my husband Brad, our daughter Ryley, and our wild German Shorthair Pointer, Harvey, along with friends whenever we can. You will also find me cheering on the Packers, Brewers, Badgers, and Ryley’s teams (Lomira High School, Oakfield Crush, and Breakout Volleyball Club). Outside of that, I am always up for a visit to a spa, being outdoors, getting into a good book, finding a rummage sale with great deals and allocating my time to give back to the community.

Q: What is a fun fact about you?
A: Not sure if it’s a “fun fact,” but it feels like everywhere I go, I run into someone I know. After 20+ years in Human Resources, I’ve connected with a lot of people! I genuinely enjoy getting to know people, hearing their stories, and it’s a big part of why I love what I do.

Q: Favorite Local Restaurant or Favorite Food?
I’m always up for a good coffee shop! Around home, I love Coffee Corner in Kewaskum and Wind and Unwind in Waupun, and near work, Fiddleheads in Menomonee Falls is a go-to. They all make a yummy lavender vanilla latte with almond milk and their own rendition of avocado toast!

Q: Favorite Vacation Destination?
A: Florida! Right now, it’s a favorite place full of great memories, but someday, it’ll be a home.

Jacki’s commitment to building a culture where employees can succeed is the foundation of what makes Beeler Construction special. Her ability to connect with people, her entrepreneurial drive, and her deep respect for the construction industry create an environment where everyone from apprentices to seasoned professionals can build meaningful careers. Thank you, Jacki, for everything you do to make Beeler Construction a place where people are valued, supported, and proud to work.
