Q: What does a typical day look like in your role at Beeler Construction?
A: A typical day in my role at Beeler is a mix of analyzing and updating financial reports, collaborating across departments with our CFO and project management teams, and staying on top of things, like change order management and accounts receivable. A big focus is spent on managing cash flow and continuously looking for ways to improve efficiency across the teams.
Q. What drew you to a career in commercial construction, and how did you end up at Beeler Construction?
A: My interest in commercial construction started early in my career with a family-owned developer that I worked with for 11 years. I’ve enjoyed working with family-owned construction companies, which have helped me expand my knowledge of real estate, design, project management, and field operations, keeping me well-rounded and always learning. I also really value being a part of a company whose work has a direct impact on my local community. Living in Menomonee Falls, Beeler was a natural fit.
Q: What do you enjoy most about working at Beeler Construction?
A: The variety each day brings, the challenge of problem-solving and working through details to help move projects forward, combined with the strong camaraderie and support across the team.
Q: What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about commercial construction or your specific role?
A: There’s a surprising amount of detective work in construction accounting, because it’s not just numbers, but it’s also deeply tied to operations and strategy.

A: Agile, Driven & Collaborative
Q: Outside of work, what are your hobbies or interests?
A: I love checking out microbreweries and enjoying craft cocktails outdoors with my husband and dogs. I also enjoy volunteering for various local organizations and traveling.
Q: What is a fun fact about you?
A: I’m currently building an entire Christmas village built from LEGO, complete with electrical wiring, so the buildings, the cars, and the streets light up.

A: Hop Yard or Old Germantown, because you can never go wrong with pizza and beer

A: I wouldn’t say I have a favorite destination. I just love traveling internationally and experiencing different cultures firsthand.
